Structure, revealed.
Automated equation discovery, and everything that follows.
02 · The Name
noun · a fragment; a shard; a piece of something whole
The world reaches us in fragments. Measurements, records, data: pieces of something whole. Every phenomenon has a structure. A thread of mathematics running through it. An equation that explains the structure.
Most have never been found.
We build the instruments that reveal it.
03 · The Vision
Equation discovery has always been manual and slow. A bottleneck where breakthroughs wait in line. Our goal is to evolve the process of equation discovery. To turn it into an automated, rapid, repeatable, verifiable, and simple process. The effort of manually finding equations to explain mathematical relationships will soon be a struggle of the past. We intend to turn equation discovery into an afterthought by automating it.
Equation discovery, made automatic and exact, is an instrument destined to become a foundational primitive. What stands on it will matter even more than the instrument itself. Kakera builds there too.
04 · Company
Kakera, Inc. is an independent research lab, built around a single conviction. The deepest problems give way not to scale or speed alone, but to careful instruments in careful hands. The lab exists to pursue that conviction with patience: to build those instruments, prove what they can do, and follow where they lead.
Every claim carries its receipts.
